Overview
Feeder pillars are built for the outdoors. The enclosure has a sloping canopy to shed rain, gasketed doors and a raised plinth, and is finished for UV and weather resistance. Inside, the layout is the same as a distribution board: an incomer, busbars and protected outgoings.
For street and area lighting we add automatic switching through an astronomical timer or photocell, with contactors per circuit and an energy meter, so lights come on at dusk and go off at dawn without anyone visiting the pillar.

Built and tested in-house
We cut, bend, weld and powder-coat the enclosures in our own workshop, then assemble and wire every panel to drawings you approve before fabrication starts. Before dispatch each panel goes through high-voltage, insulation resistance and functional tests, and your team is welcome to witness them.
